i found out the other day we got through, in choir, on that rotary thing that we did a few years back. i remember how i stood next to you, and we spent the time laughing about mr. hansells 'smart outfit'.
when we do it again, it just won't be the same.

We're doing the carol concert on Wedensday and I remember doing it this time last year when everything was so raw to all of us and Emma and I thought of you all the way through, we're doing the Hallelujah chorus again and that one especially makes me think of you, I don't really know why, maybe becsaue its meant to be so joyous and exciting. I don't think a day has passed in the last year when I haven't thought about you for some reason or another. When I walk past your house, look up at your window and see your glitter ball hanging down it always brings a smile to my face. You're greatly missed at school, but with so much being done in your memory you could never be forgotten. You would have loved building the DNA model and could have helped me with the sciencey aspect of it that I just didn't understand! You will stay in my heart and memory forever Hannah. You are always at the back of my mind with everything i do from watching x factor to a girl walking along the street with purple converse. Losing you made me realise how short life is and how you have to go for it with everything you do and have the best time because you never know whats about to happen. its been a year since we spoke about our dreams to go to medical school.
i am now im my first term and absolutely loving it, like i know you would've done.
some days i wake up and look at my huge folder on my desk and think how on earth am i going to survive the next 6 years? its so difficult. but i lie down and think about you and how you would've have done it. remembering your passion, enthusiasm and lively attitude towards medicine helps me get up and survive the next week of intense lectures!

i'm thinking of you every step of the way and i just wish i could tell you some of my stories.

Darling Hannah - how typical of your Mum to write and thank everbody for the support in the long long year since you've been gone. A Year of Thank You's
We could not imagine this time last year how we were going to get through the year ahead and certainly not have thought that so many people would do so many remarkable things in Hannah's memory and say so many kind words. So here we are a year on still celebrating Hannah's life with her friends, her teachers, our friends and our family. It is a tribute to her that so many amazing events continue to take place with such enthusiasm. Together you have raised over £100,000 for the Meningitis charities. The truly impressive achievement in raising such a huge amount is that it has come from so many different endeavours. From playground sweet sales to runs,
walks and tribute CD's. Best of all is the spirit of joy that has accompanied all of this. All of it so very Hannah.
So thank you for remembering her with joy and thank you for looking after us.

You are everywhere i go and I think of you everyday. I'm so grateful there's no way i could ever forget you. We just got back from seeing Gavin DeGraw, i remember you raving abuot the time yuo saw him...it was so so good! I wish you were here to take our journey home again, we laughed so hard for so many years and now i can't take that route without feeling lonely.

I have just listened to The Snow, it randomly came up on a ipod song shuffle. It reminded me so much of you, and how we used to giggle in choir over the strange note at the end of the first verse and the funny face I had to pull to hit it. Everytime we sang Nigra Sum on tour it reminded me of you so much, and as Minal said there was a busker who started singin hallelujah, just to remind us that your still here with us always. (By the way he then went on to sing happy birthday to etty and serenage her- it was veyr funny!) i think of you all the time hannah. and i think its crazy that even though i didnt know you nearly as well as so many other people here, i still feel that empty space at school, and especially in choir that you used to fill.
i honestly hope you are in a better place, cheering up people now as much as you did before.

We've been having our choir tour rehersals after school on fridays and I'm constantly thinking of you, as I'm sure so many other people in the room are, especially when we sing Nigra Sum. I've finished my application to uni to do medicine as well and everytime i think I wouldn't make a good doctor I try and think about what you would do and it makes me work harder. Thank yo ufor being such an inspiration to me and to everyone. You are so missed Hannah and you'll never be forgotten. lots of love xxxxxx

mamma mia here we go again!! Not sure if you were an ABBA fan (probably too tame!) but you would have loved the film i couldnt stop thinking about you when I was watching it, it reminded me of when we went to see Boogie Nights in about yr 7 and came home singing 'i got all my sisters with me!' complete with dance routine :). i walked billy up to the ballet school yesterday and remebered the times we used to scooter down that steep hill. i remeber doing ballet classes with you and eating all those pancakes before we went. Pancake tuesday! i remember how much you laffed wen i first got billy coz of the kind of dog he was and i remember the day u proudly presented me with a beenie baby version of him. i remeber collecting beeniebabies and pound puppies with you and the one 'tragic' accidnent you had wen u lost them all at my country house.
Its definately funny how mch 1 simple thing can spark of a chain of memories, but wats more funny is how little and insignificant the memories seem compared to how much i miss and love you, forever your best friend xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Miss you so much hannah, did work experience last week where your mum works, i know you used to work there and everyone there talks about you and they all love you so much and say such lovely things about you. i wish i could just talk to you again, theres just so much i want to tell you and its still so hard to know that i can't. i still remember just how so long ago when we were really young we used to just sit in our rooms chatting, painting each others nails or outside shopping, attempting to rollerblade and of course the scooter/skateboard. i have missed you so much this summer because we lived so close and so in the summer we just always went round to each others house even if we were just passing by. I miss how you used to come by my house after school and whenever i was ill you always came over to say hi and see how i was and i miss how you always used to play me these random songs that no one else knew. Love you forever xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I was sorting out a bunch of stuff in my room when i came across the programme to your funeral. I burst into tears and it just made me realise how much i miss you when i'm at your house. Your red feather which you wore to my party sits on a self in my room and whenever i look at it it always remind me of you frantically helping me to get ready in the bathroom that night by glueing my fake eye lashes on for me and applying red lipstick to me all at the same time! I miss being able to walk into your room asking you for something or just for a girly chat.
Hannah you are truely missed and have definately made me realise that we can't take life for granted and we have to appreciate everything.
I hope your having fun with all those gorgeous pirates sailing the seven seas.

i accompanied my mum to a leonard cohen concert tonight at the O2. of course, he played the famous 'hallelujah'... it moved me to tears remembering you singing it and playing it so beautifully on guitar. i still have a cd you burned me back when we were 13, which includes the jeff buckley version you so loved - i really treasure that cd now. the most painful memory, though, was having last heard it at your funeral. i'm reminded of you so often, it's unreal. you're so missed.

although i'm not usually the most spiritual person, i wholeheartedly believe that you're somewhere better now, watching over us all.

i haven't written anything on here before because i never know what to write. we had a family party at your house yesterday and it was such a lovely day it was really nice to get to know your brothers and parents better. I did miss you though. We didn't speak that much but i can remember 3 events i truely loved when we were together, Uncle simons wedding when we all got thoses teddies on the tables at dinner. Nannies funeral and Jennifers baptism.
when i look back at the pictures of these events there are always pictures of you, elinor and i together you were always happy and always had that beautiful smile on your face. James, elinor and i decided yesterday it would be so much easier if we call each other cousins instead of 1st cousins once removed.
I am doing a sponsered row which is 18 miles and i am putting most of the money towards the meningitis trust in memory of you.

I miss and love you so much

Hannah my sweet, you would be so amazed if you had any idea how often you crop up in my thoughts. Its very rare that a day passes that I dont think about you and miss you. You were there in the hall during musical statues - I saw all your freinds laughing & I could just see you there too. We were truly blessed as a school to have had you with us. And tomorrow Putney Park is having a pirates day to remember you too; my daughter has been working there and she has been telling the little kids how marvellous you were - and she never even met you! At the beginning of her last choir rehersal, Hannah chatted to Sarah and me about the sixth form and how great the common room was and how everyone for yr12 and yr 13 got on so well. She giggled at the prospect of us joining the sixth form and said that she would always keep an eye out for us. It was a genuinely kind thought that was so typical of Hannah. I often remember how thoughtful Hannah was- she showed such great kindness to me, even though we did not know each other particularly well.

I had thought that yesterday's fair would be really painful, but it wasn't: everyone was able to smile at the memories they have and their was a wonderful, warm atmosphere. The pirate ship was amazing and the dedication of everyone running the fair was palpable. Happy Birthday x

happy birthday beautiful. i've seen pictures from the 6th form fair that was dedicated to you today - it looked incredible, i wish i could have been there, your friends did you so proud. it was the perfect tribute, it would have made you so happy. it's amazing what a visible impact you've had on so many people in the time you shared with us, and so touching how much you were loved you and always will be. i so hope that somehow you can see the hundreds of thoughts posted on this group, and know that you were cherished and are forever irreplaceable. i havent stopped thinking about you today. i so wish you were still here, celebrating with your friends and family as you deserved, but i hope more than anything that you're in an even better place now. i really hope too that the kings are staying strong. my thoughts have been with you all for some time. xXx
